Our visit to VLB Group

At our company, we strive for control and efficiency in our production processes. That's why we recently invested in a cutting-edge tube bending machine, the ECO 63 NC3 from VLB Group.

 

This game-changing machine allows us to take charge of the formation process of our ERV3 extrusion rings, reducing lead times and ensuring top-notch quality. But that's not all - we're also using this impressive equipment to shape the Alucurve DPM, eliminating the need for manual labour.

 

To ensure that this machine meets and exceeds our expectations, we embarked on a visit to VLB. Our goal was to give the machine and its tools a thorough inspection and sign off on its readiness for production. To ensure that everything was in perfect order, we requested VLB to produce sample parts of varying sizes for each extrusion profile. We checked for dimensions accuracy, minimal deformities at bend corners, and maintained flatness on crucial sealing faces.

 

We rigorously tested the repeatability of the parts produced. Rest assured, we left no stone unturned in our quest for excellence.

VLB showcased the fascinating process of setting up the tools and crafting programs to produce a wide array of sizes. With smiles of satisfaction, Ian and Joachim gave their seal of approval to the machine and tooling.

 

Now, as the next exciting phase looms, we will continue to keep up communications with VLB regarding the machine's imminent journey to CP UK. Anticipated for early August, this moment marks a significant milestone in our project's progress.
