CP Cases has been considered the industry leader in Air-Conditioned Transit Cases (AC/TC), since their initial development in 2005. We offer air conditioning options for our Amazon Racks, as well as all 4U and larger ERacks. Air conditioning can be provided using either a Thermoelectric (TEU) or a Vapor Compression Cycle (VCC) unit. The size and type of AC unit is selected based on the cooling output required to keep the electronics operating in the optimal environment. The cooling required is dependent on various factors like heat output of the electronics and geographic location of use. Many of our air-conditioned transit cases utilize an extra, smaller case called a COOL COLLAR to permanently house the ac unit. This allows the operator to connect the cases during operation and disconnect them for storage and transport. It also gives users access to the rear of their electronics without depopulating the chassis.

The 3i Series Cases are injection molded from ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, material specified by the U.S. military for cases and containers. It features a gasketed, water and dust-tight submersible design, meeting military standard MIL-C-4150J.

21st January, CP Cases, Isleworth, UK – CP Cases, a leading global manufacturer of specialist and bespoke protective case solutions, recently participated in the UK Digital Catalyst Programme. Successfully reducing one of its digital processes from 180 mins to just 15 mins.
The UK Digital Catalyst Programme has been developed by the Future of Business Manufacturing. It involved forming a collaboration between software supplier Autodesk, Imperial College and CP Cases to review some of the challenges faced by the company.
Asif Moghal, Senior Industry Manager at Autodesk said, “With so much of the UK industry focused on driving productivity and finding new skills, it is really motivating to see how connecting a company like CP Cases to Umar from Imperial can have such a dramatic impact. More collaborations like these can only benefit the industry and we intend to continue scaling this approach during 2019.”
